功夫狂想曲

We got a new puppy.  It is Shiba Inu, now 4 months old.    We

named her "Äki".  We went to Shiba Inu breeders in Arkansas

January 19 and among dozen dogs, this dog picked me.   She

came to me three times and licking on me each time, no other dogs

 did. 

From early this morning we have snow and heavy wind.  It is very

very cold.  First snow this winter here and Aki's first snow

too.   She did not know what to do and did not want to get out, so I

got shovel and removed snow from doggy door area, then she got

out and after that, she started playing in the snow.  It was pretty

entertaining that she was jumping, digging and eating snow. 

We enrolled for the puppy training at Pets Mart starting February 5

for 6 weeks course.  Then have her spaded on March 14.  I will be

leaving to Tokyo in March 28, so there is plenty time to heal from

her surgery.   She weighs 13.5 lbs now, and will be 18 -20 lbs .  She

will not be big like Taiyo. 

At this time Aki comes to me and not to Bill.   She started to warm

up to him a little last 3 days, it may take time...
